I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted on Tuesday..

Let me start from the beginning eh? Soo i get into the Dentists office and immediately the lady is being a bitch to me( i really cant understand why, my mother said it was probably the way i "looked") anyways... my parents gave me a blank check for the bill, but i filled out the cash amount wrong, the lady told me to write over the previous amount, so i did... then she tells me that she needs the I.D. of whoevers check it is... my parents aren't with me, so i get them on the phone, and at this point shes telling my parents that i SCRIBBLED all over the check and now its unusable(AFTER the fact, that she told me to write on the damn check).. so now she's no only getting me pissed,but my parents as well, after about 30 minutes of trying to get me paid for, my dad gives her his Credit Card number over the phone. As if that wasn't enough, she was still treating me shitty, and without me even telling my father of how i was being treated he CUSSED THAT BITCH OUT!

Didn't start great to say the least. Anyways, they conk me out, do their job and off to home i go(with the boyfriend) of course im all fucked up on medicine i dont even remember tuesday... BUT, here comes wednesday, and the numbness of the novacane has yet to wear off... which leads into today ... which is thursday and it still feels as though they JUST put novacane in my mouth... incase you havnt ever had novacane.. this is bad.It never lasts this long

i cant smoke, and this whole situation is stressing me out
i looked online to see what the possible situations are for my numbness, and it all comes down to Nerve damage. Which is a permanent thing

Im scared and agitated. Called up the doctors office and im going to see them around 3:30... wish my luck

Becky, please make sure that they figure out exactly why you have no feeling. If you need to please get a second impartial opinion....
However, I am praying for you....keep us all informed as to your diagnosis.
As for that Bitch in reception, I would make sure that you post a formal complaint with the doctors or whatever Dental Association she works for...and make sure your Father does too...I would be willing to bet that its not the first time shes pulled something shitty like that on a someone regardless of what they look like.

OH man... thats pretty bad... I wish you luck and hope theirs nothing wrong in the long term, but if there is you should take them down for all they got.
It was probly all that receptionist bitches fault, maybe she was getting back at you and got you everdosed on novacane.

Hope it turns out well..when I had my 4 taken out, the anesthetic only lasted about an hour or so after I left the office.

Make sure they check you out really well, the wisdom teeth have roots that curl and can catch nerves when getting yanked :S
