zomg!!1! he wrote a new blog!

It's been a while since I blogged... zoiks! Work has been keeping me busy all stupid hours of the day and I've been crashing out when I get home and not staying up so late most days. So it's been pretty much just work and sleep and a bit of Guild Wars, and lately back to recording a bit in the studio and not really much time spent interacting online with people. I need to try and spend a bit more time on here and come back to the chat more often, I miss you guys!

On that same kinda note, I'm sad that the jeskidsworld site is going to disappear. I know it's the people and not the site that matters, but I'm a packrat - I like to hold on to everything if the memories associated with it are good, and the memories of jeskidsworld and the times spent in the chatroom there and the people I've met through the site are awesome. I do like to look back from time to time over old journals, photos, comments etc., and I guess that ability won't be there soon. But I'm sure there will be many more great times to be had on this site too :D

I'm still working (very slowly) on editing together some of the footage I shot on my new video camera from the New York event, but I suck at: a) filming - it's incredibly shaky footage, and apparently I didn't really think at all about what I was going to film before I started shooting (there's a lot of footage of us just walking, and walking, and walking some more), b) editing, c) finding music to go with it.

so, anyway... I saw Brandon's blog and thought I'd steal that for here (although he stole it from Jucksweet), and see what the results came up with for me (yay! new trend!)... so here goes :)

I'm sure the video will turn out great. You'll just need a little push here and there, but I am positive you'll get it worked out =)

I will miss JKW....I only caught the last few months of it and I had fun during that short time. *sigh*

But I think it will be back up in another form in the furture so it is not lost forever =D

Don't sweat the shaky walking footage. When I got back from SNOB I had over six hours of footage, most of it inaudible and boring (using a camera almost identical to yours). It's all about editing down the footage to only what's interesting and entertaining. Course, I'm not the expert here...
