Perfection,

Perfection, is I Am Legend.
It's sad, it's realistic, and Will Smith may just damn well be one of the best actors I've ever seen.
I really got into the movie, so I'll admit this was one of the few times where hunting for flaws completely slipped my mind, but as far as I'm concerned that is a good thing!

Francis Lawrence, whom I was surprised to learn only directed small projects and Constantine before this, is an amazing director. Not my favorite, but he did great making the movie all but kill your hopes for a new beginning for the world. The ONLY problem I did manage to notice, was that the CGI looked bascially... like CGI. The zombies were all 100% fake at almost all times. I will not spoil the ending, which surprised me, but it kept me interested even after the credits rolled.

I will suggest FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE, see this movie IN THEATRES, it's just a hell of a lot better, believe me. Even for you "snuggle on the couch" folks, if you're gonna watch one movie in theaters instead of at home, watch Robert Neville's post-apocalyptic story. If you don't enjoy it, I'll give you an address and you can beat me up.. for a small charge.

But really, if I had a top 10 list, I'd be sure to add I Am Legend to it.

My vocal professor sung with his trio of tenors on the soundtrack. He recorded it earlier this semester and we had to explain to him what it was about... at first he thought we were pulling his leg with the whole "vampire zombie mutant" thing. Haha.

Have to say I did like it but felt like some parts were unneeded like him washing the dog or talking to the people in the DVD store.

And actually the BEST experience is in IMAX. The screams just make your ears want to bleed.
