Quick Update from Chattanooga

So this is just a quick update to let everyone know what's going on right now. My grandmother, who for those who don't know has terminal cancer, was taken to the hospital today. The doctors are going on the belief she had a "mild stroke", I disagree based on all of the information available but what do I know? She was admitted into the hospital's hospice unit this evening. I, of course, left work as soon as I found out and came to Chattanooga. When I got to the hospital she was still in the ER area. She was only lucid/coherent for short periods. When I showed up she didn't recognize me but after we told her about 10 times who I was you could see the realization dawn on her as she repeated my names several times, squeezed my hand and smiled. I am... numb. I haven't let myself deal with it yet I don't think. I have to hold it together for my family's sake so I am doing that. I will have my breakdown once I am back in Nashville so if you're there, I will probably need my friends soon. I have no idea of my plans yet. I am going to see what her prognosis is tomorrow before making any decisions about staying here or going back to Nash. That's it for now. Prayers and good thoughts are appriciated.
