no end in sight

I am on mid's ( 3rd shift) for awhile until we get someone hired for the position:( This sucks! The thing is that this is the hardest position to fill. It takes a special kind of person. What I mean is one who likes the hours, because the job is easy. I asked for a raise to do it and my GM said no. Not sure if I should give my GM an option of pay me or do the shift yourself. I would say it better than that. However, she is killing not only me but another person to split the week. One week I do four days and then the next I do three days. Hoping for a miracle to happen. Nothing else new and exciting....Just wanted to check in. Hope everyone is doing great!
