Just got it earlier this week and while adding custom characters is a feat that still escapes me I was able to go through the entire Campaign mode on "Casual" (the lowest setting). I don't like to try the most impossible off the bat because it will likely just piss me off and I won't play the game, also, I haven't played Unreal Tournament in YEARS and it's a totally different animal than WoW. I had some time on my hands

Will be trying something new...

every once in a while I hit a realization that makes me really go back and think over some things and some times those things cause me to want to try a different approach. 1 - I have decided to stop initiating Instant Messenger conversations.. 3/4 of the time I feel like I am bugging the people I am messaging, so for awhile I am just not going to open any windows. Do you want to play a game?

a game on the forums... I'll start hosting it as I have a backlog of stuff I can use. it's a game I've helped played in another location and it was really fun so I thought we might enjoy it here. Sad Season FInales..

two of my favourite shows had their finales earlier this week.. which I DVRd and watched later... and so sad. Characters either died or went to jail forevers / nearly died. so I've been putting this off for a looooong time mostly because being lazy is so much easier than being proactive and working out. However I know that I need to do it, I want to tone and get my strength back and (hopefully) not be hurting all the time with my shoulder and back...

How I feel lately....

so just recently something I watched over a year ago came to mind and I realized how very much it relayed what I am feeling in my life right now. My Internet Sucks

all of a sudden my internet has decided it wants to be sporadically horrible.. in fact, less sporadic now and more like consistently acting like a friggin window licker. Keeps cutting out on me for no apparent reason making it next to impossible to do anything or surf any where.

It is sucking so bad right now that it makes the horrific suctioning power of a black hole look like it has the suction power of a badly clogged drain. Oh yeah - it's that awesome.

30 some odd years ago...

the Canadian Dollar was worth more than the American Dollar - it was a brief but celebrated time of Canadians going cross border shopping. This past week the dollars have been closer than they've been in a long time - and just today the Canadian Dollar is just over par to the USD... wow..... thirty years later and it's come back up - thats kind of exciting

I hope it stays up for the trip to NY - having some of those expenses come back at par will make me feel better.

A Stranger's Words

I go to bed with the words "whorish" and "repulsive" on my mind and it really bums me out. I received such comments from someone I don't even know and I don't know why it bothers me more than if someone I actually knew had said it. I guess everyone worries a bit about what others think of them - but in general I am supremely self-conscious and tend to take criticisms harder to heart than compliments.. I never thought much of my appearance, but I wouldn't have categorized it as repulsive.
