The best place....

It seems for me to update all small things/thoughts "Drawn by Pain" would be here. Lately I have been applying to several top tier festivals for the feature version of the film (*crosses fingers*). Once I find out about those in the next few months I should have a much clearer sense of which direction to take the movie. It's been a crazy time

Running out of money - very little time - loads of stress and yet still.... VERY EXCITED!!!! We are talking to a lot of people about DBP and it's ability to move forward. The Webby award race made me feel like I was running for president (I'd be horrible!) Comic con was awesome but super tiring. Working with the Indy Mogul guys - a blast. And much more. The juggler

I juggle way to many things. So many that I look at this page and think oh my I haven't blogged in a while. Does anyone like my twittter updates btw ? I am having one of those...

I survived the storm and am proud of myself moments. It's rare that I let myself feel like this, but looking back on all the test footage, auditions, etc I just gotta feel good for still striving.

The Convention and Radio show

What an amazing weekend! Though I must say I am TIRRRRRREED.

First was last Wednesday - when we hauled everything over to the NY Anime Festival floor to get set up. It was freezing cold as the doors were open for the trucks that brought in everyone's things. As it was only Victor and me - it was tricky getting everything there and installed. The presentation had to be just right as I wanted new people to see DBP as it was meant to be seen. I went to Sirus Radio tonight....

And the place was AWESOME. Huge glass booths for everything from The NFL Radio to Howard Stern in them. I got to see a show called The Wise Guys with several of the Sopranos on it and the guest star FRANKY VALLEY - only one of the most famous singers of all time. He was like five feet from me. Normally I'm not impressed, but this was kinda magic.

It was surreal.

Can't wait for my radio show!

It's 6am and I feel good.

Though it's been rough since you guys left (lots of stuff has been wrecking havoc in Jeskid land) I feel pretty damn good about things this evening.

Even looking down this page and seeing everyone's thoughts makes me glad I started this whole online thing. So please keep commenting on other people's stuff. Makes for a better community and better time.

I am going to write a more in depth journal later - just wanted to share the good cheer.
