In an interview for the original Splinter Cell, Michael Ironside said "There are two universal truths, love and fear." And that's what I really appreciate about DBP. The emotive responses the story engenders. It almost feels like a trip down the rabbit hole. You revel in the feeling of freedom the fall gives you, but you wait in trepidation for the end, not knowing what awaits you at the bottom.
Well, besides, what it represents to me, which is a man fighting for and making his dream come true(Jes), My favorite thing other than that is the struggle to keep going after tons of crap has happened to you.
I want to know what Jes's and Marissa's Favorite thing about DbP is!
I was telling Cheshire Cat the other day, I don't know enough about cinema to know (technically) what's what, but I do know what I like.
There are many things about DBP that I like. Firstly, the storyline, to me is the backbone of any show. DBP has a great storyline. Secondly, the crew. Direction, animation, acting, all the crew. Dedicated people in the crew will carry the storyline, with or without budget. Thirdly, characters. Believe it or not, Emily Waters is not my favorite character on the show. Douglas (ty to ep7 for giving us his name) intrigues me, I'm so curious to see how he develops. And, of course, the community. I love this place. You people are great!
